You Look Like Me Had An Interactive Experience With Raymond Elementary Students
On October 30, 2025, YLM brought the spirit of Halloween to life inside a kindergarten
classroom at Raymond Elementary School not with costumes, but with creativity,
connection, and care.
With a goal of creating a fun and interactive experience, YLM introduced activities that
allowed the children to express themselves freely. The day began with index cards and
crayons, inviting each child to draw what they dreamed of becoming for Halloween. The
room quickly filled with imagination as superheroes, princesses, and future aspirations
came to life through colorful sketches.
The creativity didn’t stop there.
YLM members joined the students in coloring Mickey Mouse pumpkins, turning a simple
activity into a shared moment of joy and conversation. Sitting beside the children, they
talked, laughed, and celebrated the excitement that makes childhood so special.
To close out the visit, YLM gathered the class for story time reading aloud and sharing
the pictures, creating a calm and memorable ending to a day centered on engagement
and encouragement.
Through small moments of creativity and presence, YLM helped transform an ordinary
school day into one filled with imagination, warmth, and connection.
