What is YLM?
YLM means You Look Like Me. YLM is a nonprofit organization in Jackson, MS that aims to provide high school students and college students better opportunities to be successful in life.
High School Branch
YLM focuses on empowering high school students in the Jackson, Mississippi Metro area through programs providing mentorship and tutoring from active college students, ACT Prep and ACT financial assistance, college visits and college application assistance, opportunities to hear from influential speakers, and introducing the students to community service. College Branch
YLM focuses on college students by finding information on internship and job opportunities, giving opportunities to mentor and tutor the youth, providing opportunities to hear from influential speakers, completing community service, offering financial assistance if needed, and giving an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
